On June 4, 2025, the highly anticipated 8th "Secret Light Awards" (SLA) ceremony, a grand event in the laser industry, was solemnly held in Shenzhen. Government leaders, Chinese and foreign laser experts, scholars, executives from leading laser enterprises, and industry elites gathered together to witness the birth of the top honors in the laser industry.

Known as the "Oscars of China's laser industry," the 8th Secret Light Awards unveiled the list of award-winning enterprises. With 20 years of deep cultivation and innovative breakthroughs in the laser industry, UW Laser stood out from many outstanding enterprises and successfully won the "Influential Enterprise Award in the Laser Industry," becoming the only enterprise to receive this honor at the ceremony. Mr. Lu Guojie, Deputy General Manager and Deputy Dean of the Laser Research Institute of our company, attended the award ceremony on behalf of the company and delivered a speech as the only representative of the award-winning enterprise on site.

According to the organizing committee, this year's award evaluation activities attracted 105 enterprises from the laser industry chain, including laser sources, laser equipment, core components, and application terminals, to apply, with 141 projects shortlisted. The shortlisted projects are highly innovative, most of which have reached China’s advanced level, and many technologies have reached the world advanced level.
