Recently, Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu released the "Notice on Announcing the List of the First (Set) of Major Equipment Recognized in Jiangsu Province in 2024", in which the "UW/33PPM Prismatic Aluminum Shell Welding Equipment" independently developed by Jiangsu United Winners Laser Co., Ltd. stood out and successfully made the list, marking another significant breakthrough for our company in the field of laser welding intelligent equipment manufacturing.
Being recognized as the first set of major equipment above the provincial level signifies that the overall performance or core technical indicators of the product have reached the domestic leading level or the advanced level of similar international equipment, which is of great significance for enterprises to participate in national major project bidding and high-end market exploration.
The "UW/33PPM Prismatic Aluminum Shell Welding Equipment" selected this time, equipped with the United Winners UW-Y2600M pulse hybrid welding laser, features intelligent recognition and automatic adjustment of welding parameters, capable of optimizing welding according to different workpieces and welding requirements. The welding speed can reach 16mm/s, and its production capacity can be increased to 33PPM within a limited factory space, both higher than those of domestic and foreign peer enterprises.
Under the condition of the same equipment capacity, the equipment equipped with pulse hybrid welding lasers requires fewer lasers, reducing the energy consumption of the equipment by 12%. Additionally, this production line adopts laser welding technology independently developed by our company, which can effectively ensure the welding quality in the battery production process, improving the safety, reliability, and consistency of the batteries, with a final product yield of over 99.8%. Furthermore, the equipment is also equipped with a digital communication module, which can easily enable real-time communication between the factory server and the machine units, facilitating the construction of digital workshops and intelligent factories.
